Collection: Alliums

The genus Allium is a large and diverse group distributed across the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere, with many of the ornamental species originating from Central Asia, the Mediterranean and parts of the Middle East, where they grow in open, well-drained habitats. Their flowers are highly attractive to pollinators, while the foliage of many varieties dies back discreetly before flowering, allowing neighbouring plants to soften their emergence. Best known for their distinctive globe-shaped flowerheads, these architectural plants have become invaluable in gardens for their structure, elegance and remarkable versatility.
