Also known as 'Queen of the Meadow', (she is a shepherdess in Welsh) the fern like leaves and creamy blossoms in late summer have been used for flavouring potpourri for centuries. It grows 3ft tall in any moist soil in full sun, liking waterlogged ground as well.
