Maianthemum bifolium
Thin white rhizomes creep through leaf litter in this plant’s native woodlands. In early spring, a carpet of glossy green, heart shaped leaves emerge, then in late Apr-May pure white 6” high racemes of flowers. Curiously native in Britain only in woods of NE England, it is found across Northern Europe east into Russia. Sold per container grown cluster of rhizomes
