Caltha palustris
One of the first wetland plants to flower ( March -May) with its striking golden flowers and roundish glossy leaves. Otherwise called ‘Marsh Marigold’ it is happy in water logged ground and all light conditions, even the deepest shade. Ideal for pondside, bog or wet wood. AGM
