Another species from the mountains of Central Asia and easy to grow, and even spread, in the open garden here. In March and April the bulbs produce several creamy white flowers with yellow centres that stay nestled amongst shiny green foliage. Although they are relatively small, around 1” across they together make a great show, particularly when opening wide on a sunny day.
