This little early flowering species, with golden petals and trumpet comes from the rocky but moist meadows of NW Spain including Asturias. It is even smaller that its cousin Narcissus minor and used to be referred to as Narcissus minimus. It grows best in moist peaty soil.

This Triandrus cultivar, with all the attributes of its Angel’s Tears parent, is a vigorous grower. With soft yellow cup and swept back petals in April, it reaches just 5”, smaller even than its cultivar cousin Narcissus Hawera.

An early 1930’s Triandrus hybrid, this is a fine version of the Angels Tears daffodil, with soft yellow cup and swept back petals and “dwarf” 6-8” stature of its parent. It is made vigorous and sweet scented by its other parent, the jonquil.

Raised before the 1st World War this was a small cupped daffodil classic, winning awards. The Queen has star shaped milky white, sharply pointed and separated petals, with a cup becoming primrose yellow. She flowers in April standing 12-14”.
